Distinctive Geometrics for The Milton Bar and Restaurant
“The refinement of an up-market restaurant in the form of an understated urban bar”.
Biasol Design Studio recently nailed this brief when they delivered The Milton bar and restaurant to bayside Elwood; and we were thrilled to be involved with the project.
They approached us with a clear vision: a specific triangular cement tile design in charcoal and grey, to serve as a contemporary feature for the venue.
Our extensive encaustic cement tile range meant we could deliver the perfect grey and charcoal hues. Plus, from our collection, Biasol Design Studio added a white tile to complete the palette.
With a few possible options to provide the shape they envisioned, the optimal solution involved using a water jet cutting technique to cut our grey, charcoal and white square 200x200x16mm cement tiles on a diagonal, forming the unique triangular shape.
The distinctive design – where no two tiles lay the same way – embellishes The Milton’s elongated bar. These tiles make a bold statement, creating a striking contemporary feature amid the site’s original elements.
Our collection of cement tiles will make any space a standout, so visit our showroom to view our range and let us help create something amazing for your next project.
